Morioka Castle Site Park (Iwate Park)

It is said that Nobunao Nanbu (first feudal lord of the Morioka Domain) began construction of Morioka Castle in 1597. With cherry trees, plum trees, and a pond, the flowers of each season can be enjoyed in the park. Also chosen as one of "Japan's 100 Famous Castles" and one of "Japan's Best 100 Historical Parks".
