Aomori Museum of Art

Starting with Yoshitomo Nara's "Aomori-ken" giant dog statue, a representative work of Japanese modern art, the museum features many kinds of diverse and unique art by artists such as the world-famous woodblock artist Shiko Munakata and Toru Narita, a sculptor and monster designer.

From Aomori Station's no. 6 bus stop, take the Aomori City Bus toward Sannai-Maruyama Isekimae for 20-25 minutes and get off at Kenritsu Bijutsukanmae
- Take the JR Ou Line to Aoimori Railway's Aomori Station.

From Shin-Aomori Station's East Exit, take the Aomori Shuttle de Route Bus Nebutan-go for approximately 11 minutes and get off at Kenritsu Bijutsukanmae
- Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Shin-Aomori Station.
